It took me a couple of weeks but I finally got the porteur rack and bag on it and the fenders so I can ride in the rain. There are twenty pounds of groceries in the bag. It handled pretty well. I also put on another idler pulley. Putting an idler pulley on a fixie isn't supposed to work with the back loads but this seems to do fine.It allows me to have a lower bottom gear. I had wanted to go with cantilever brakes but there wasn't room for the primary wire because of the rack mount. I might look for a longer primary wire. It's back on the road! Proper pictures when it all gets sorted out.
